Simmons out to Ryan Hinds for 84 (205 balls, 12 fours). Typical Lendl. Pre-meditated sweep shot and a simple dismissal.

Score: 161/4
Jason Mohammed looking good.

Was at the cricket all morning and up 'til tea. I have one thing to report - Dwayne Bravo is a star.

Ramdin bowled by Hinds for a duck a while ago. He looks quite ridiculous against spin at the moment. Granted, he doesn't look much better against any other pace at the moment.

Looks like its up to Dave to save T&T, then skittle Barbados out twice. Barbados can't play spin right Liam? 10fer nailed on

"The morning session is the time to warm up. Locate your seating area, get comfortable and establish territory. If you fancy a drink, keep your money at hand to cater for the constant presence of mobile beer vendors.

It is key that you do not introduce yourself to those around you, but rather establish your presence by abruptly entering the various ongoing conversations. Choose your moment, and whatever the aspect of cricket being analyzed by this collection of seated coaches, it is only necessary that input is somewhat sensible. Once the foundation is set, lean back and enjoy the game."

A little birdy tells me that Dave has destroyed the Bajan attack this morning cruising to 43* at lunch with T&T on the verge of 300. Some good support from Emrit

I wouldn't know. From where I sat all I could see was that he attempted to play a flick shot then set off to run a legbye. Normally that would suggest that it was heading down the legside, but Lara moves so far across the stumps that he may well have been LBW. I went out in the night, so I didn't see the video highlights. He didn't seem to think he was out though.

Reyad Emrit is 98 not out.
Dave Mohammed just got his half-century.
Well over 100 added for the 9th wicket so far. T&T 324/8. 170/7 at one stage.

oh ok, well he seemed very disappointed as he should have been. Seems a flat pitch there if a pretty much West Indies attack of Collins/Bradshaw/Collymore cant get out two lower-order batsmen, even if they are capable.

Not a flat pitch at all. There's certainly something in it for the bowlers. The Bajans just didn't exploit it and yes, the "lower order" batsmen batted really really well.

oh, Smith got stumped and i just assumed it must have been off Dave
The stumping was off Jaggernauth and it's the reason that Dwayne Smith shouldn't be near the Test team any time soon.

Trinidad and Tobago 340 ao
Reyad Emrit 112, Lendl Simmons 84, Dave Mohammed 50
Pedro Collins 4/52, Corey Collymore 2/43, Ian Bradshaw 2/64

Barbadso 130/5
Ryan Hinds 25, Wayne Blackman 19
Reyad Emrit 2/24, Amit Jaggernauth 1/18, Dave Mohammed 1/26, Richard Kelly 1/34

I warned you all about Reyad Emrit. He's the Trini Hoggard.

When was the last time Hoggard scored a hundred?
Well I didn't want to be the one to state it, but I'm glad you picked up on my subtle suggestions. Emrit > Hoggard.
