West Indies and India in New Zealand

GGG

State Captain
I reckon the Indian seam bowlers will use the conditions to their advantage and perform really well tbh. If the ball moves around a little bit ou batting will be in all kinds of trouble against Ishant, RP Singh, Zaheer and Irfan/Munaf.
Well our only way to win is to dish up a green top, so damned if we do and damned if we don't?

India's bowling will likely be shambles, but as long as their batsman score at 50% their natural ability we should be in trouble I reckon.

If I were NZ, I'd be wary of India' seamers particularly if the conditions as expected favour swing and seam bowling. If they could knock over SA in Jo'burg and Australia in Perth in helpful conditions, I certainly wouldn't bet against their chances of doing the same to NZL.
An attack of Zaheer, Munaf and Ishant is good enough to get 20 wickets in NZ conditions.

The key for India, IMO is how well their batsmen cope with conditions they have traditionally struggled in.

I cannot wait. I'm going to the NYE game in Queenstown. Hopefully I finally get to meet Daniel Vettori! and hopefully I get to meet Steve Folkes >.< seeing as he is the new strength and conditioning coach for the Windies. :D

For Test matches : Chris Gayle (Captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (Vice Captain), Lionel Baker, Carlton Baugh, Sulieman Benn, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Fidel Edwards, Leon Johnson, Xavier Marshall, Brendan Nash, Daren Powell, Denesh Ramdin, Kemar Roach, Jerome Taylor.

The selectors have indicated the team for the One-Dayers and T20s in New Zealand will be named later.
Aside from missing out on one million $ isn't he going to face any punishment for falling a drug test?

Nah. That's the only punishment he can get AFAIK. Going to play FC cricket this season too.

Because Joseph is absolute ****?
Don't know his FC record in recent years, based on what i saw of him in the past & recent 20/20 tournaments looks like one of the most level headed batsmen in the WI. More importantly given that Morton looked out of his depth vs AUS recently, with Samuels banned & Bravo out why pick another talented but HUGELY inexperienced player in Johnson even if its a tour to NZ. They got a ENG coming up..

So true. Plus he retired or something like that
Retired??. Didn't he play for the Leeward Islands in recent WI Domestic season?

What do you mean even if its a tour to NZ? Why is a tour to NZ any less important than any other tour?

Memory of the exact details aren't clear but I think he gave up on WI cricket and focused only on one of a few Stanford Pro teams that was around. Think they were in the smaller islands had guys on contracts to play in the Stanford 20/20. Didn't do well in the last tournament so the teams were scrapped. Then this 20/20 for 20 started up so still think he's unavailable or whatever the case may be.
