Are Mehendra Nagamootoo and Colin Stuart still around and if they they are how are they going?

Colin Stuart forgot how to bowl a couple seasons back and just dropped out of cricket it seems. He's 31 now.

Mahendra Nagamootoo is playing this season, but he's done very little with the bat and ball.

I'm disappointed in my team.At least we got first innings. That second innings performance was atrocious to say the least.Don't think Barbados will do better anyway.

But they've now won 3 out of 3! Doesn't reflect well on the quality of cricket being played at the moment.
Lots of rain and eternally fresh conditions for the seamers = lots of wickets and a batsman's nightmare.

I'll agree with you on the bowling perfomances being influenced by rain except there was none in any of Jamaica's matches if I'm correct so that disproves your theory.Overall, the batsmen have been terrible.Seems like getting over 200 as a team is an achievement this season.

You're sorely mistaken if you think that Jamaica has not been affected by rain so far. The first two rounds saw rain at every venue. The third round I'm not certain.

Parchment and Baugh hit centuries, wickets for Kelly and Sammy and runs for Dale Richards.

Didnt both the teams play on the same pitch? They may not have the stars but wins shouldnt be put down more to rain and the green pitch than their good performances! Not having stars does not mean they arent a good team.

At what point did I say that Jamaica was worse than the other teams? I simply stated that Jamaica is a very average team. They've played well enough to beat other very average teams, though other teams (such as Trinidad and Tobago) have not been allowed by the rain to match that record.

Okay the the rain proved crucial in that respect. Thanks for clarifying.

410/6 declared- Jamaica.Highest total so far this season I think.Guyana following on.
Only 2 totals have crossed 300 this season, so it's the highest for sure.

Sounds like the batting standard so far, even allowing for poor weather/pitch conditions, has been pretty awful. Not encouraging signs for West Indian cricket.
