OK guys... This game you're going to need money.
The salary cap is 1 million bucks... That should be good enough to buy you some good players. The catch is the money's coming from sponsor's... Christ we can't just give it to you...
Over the next two days... you will all have received emails from sponsors... Choose which ones you want to accept.
You should take sponsorship totalling 1 million dollars cos this will make you the most economically viable. if you don't want to. if you want more or less then that's fine...
So respond to your sponsors to the new oceania cup emailing address oceaniacup @ hotmail.com.

This is actually alot more interesting and original a concept that I thought it to be. Well done to the organizers and I really hope it works out. In fact, if not for my busy schedule, I might even have taken a team.

My e-mail's down :(

Is there any other way this could be trasmitted?
I'll do my best to get them across to you by tonight.... I might just post your sponsors in here and if other people see them so what....

I'm glad you had such high expectations about our creativity Liam :p

I have two offers, one for $550k and one for $500k. If I accept both I will exceed the salary cap . Does this mean I can only take one offer?

no it means you have 1,050,000, you can accept both offers, it just means that you will have a little extra money, which may come in handy....

I think it will be fair if the sponsors requirements are higher, say 5 players from WA in your squad, ect.

More Money = Higher requirements therefore = less choice in the draft.

There should be some sort of tax instituted for teams which wish to start with a larger amount of money. This is done in MLB and the NBA (I believe). The tax would essentially mean that the team would pay a portion of money to the "Board" for each signing.
