Tye, Richardson, Stanlake are above county cricket standard in terms of bowling standard i think Fakhar would have demolished a even better bowling lineup today the way he was batting.

Has a clutch gene which is rare for a Pakistani batsman unfortunately he is too limited to succeed in test cricket but is a real key for the limited overs side success.

Cooked lamb biryani for dinner. First attempt. Made the paste myself and everything. ****ing nailed it. Except for the bottom layer of rice burning and sticking to the cooker's surface at the bottom. Still tasted good as long as I didn't scrape the bottom of the vessel though. Was a bitch to clean. And the mutton cutlets were juicy as ****. Most meat bits were falling off the bone but one pieces of the meat was a bit dry but when eaten along with the cooked marble of fat on the bone, it tasted pretty ****ing great.

Soak the vessel in soap water for 2+ hours. The grease and burnt layer will ease up.

Yeah I had the same problem with the burnt bottom layer on my first and last attempt.

I don't think he's too limited for test cricket. He's young and he's got a lot of talent. He's going to watch and he scores dominantly. I hope Pakistan persist with him in tests and work on him. Here's hoping Pakistan don't Pakistan him up. Babar Azam too.

Right now, he is fairly limited as a batsman; but he does appear to be a very intelligent player and has very good match temperament.
It requires work; but I wouldn't be surprised if he evolves into a good test batsman.

Border had, what 3 strokes. Think if you're smart and gritty you can be good enough in tests. Needs work for sure.

The cooker sucks. Sis told me to wait for one whistle after putting the rice on top of the meat. Waited 15 minutes and it didn't go off and started to smell instead like something was burnt. Turned it off after that.

Yes, these modern day cookers can't compete with the old-fashioned copper pots, and also the clay pots

Yes I meant all round test batsman I think he can succeed in sub cont and uae.He is a good player of spin and knows his strong scoring areas another option could be to bat him @ 6 in tests could play a Gilly sort of role there but Mickey is quite insistent on playing 5 bowlers so that looks unlikely however I hope Pakistan do not tinker with him too much he is an absolute key arguably the most important player if we are to mount a challenge at next years World Cup so we should make sure we keep him in the right mindset till then.

The food discussion from other posters on CW is often pretty disappointing but I'm loving this Biryani talk. Good stuff.
