There's nowhere in the area that could support a stadium that size, and with the crowds they get, it's not financially viable.Muzza said:Elsewhere Warwickshire are preparing to unveal plans for their new 60,000 capacity stadium in the next week.
Whats your point?marc71178 said:There's nowhere in the area that could support a stadium that size, and with the crowds they get, it's not financially viable.
Let's just hope he wakes up from his dream soon :rolleyes:Muzza said:As far as I know Warwickshire has nothing to do with the real Warwickshire, thus I might get together a nice little sponsorship deal and before you know it we'll buy some land around the exsisting ground and build our new stadium.
Also, I think well do fine for crowds. This season at Warwickshire, after you left, the crowds started coming back. Now we have waiting lists that back up for weeks. Its so hard to have to turn away all those little kids who would die for even a glimpse of their heroes. We can't handle the demand and this new venture will ease it considerably.
Can you stop me? NO
Apart from the fact that they were set up as Warwickshire, play at Edgbaston, AND had the Warwickshire team as the initial team?Muzza said:As far as I know Warwickshire has nothing to do with the real Warwickshire
There is no land around the stadium - it's all roads, and for some reason the Highways agency won't sell!Muzza said:before you know it we'll buy some land around the exsisting ground and build our new stadium.
We have come formed a deal with the local government and its look like the highways agency are going to have to sell. The Mayor of Birmingham saw this as a good way to pump cash into the region, so it was too gooder proposal to turn down. All the locals and fans seam impressed too.marc71178 said:There is no land around the stadium - it's all roads, and for some reason the Highways agency won't sell!
These are the same locals who put a stop to permanent floodlights are they?Muzza said:We have come formed a deal with the local government and its look like the highways agency are going to have to sell. They a change of heart after we went over the plans with them. We showed them how special pannels installed on the roof would keep sound inside stadium. As we have said everything has been explained to locals and they are all good with the plan.marc71178 said:These are the same locals who put a stop to permanent floodlights are they?
I guess they don't mind having their houses bulldozed to make way for some useless concrete mass.
Also the amount of money needed to buy one of the main roads into Birmingham maybe a bit out of your league!
A few inconsistencies there.Muzza said:They a change of heart after we went over the plans with them. We showed them how special pannels installed on the roof would keep sound inside stadium. As we have said everything has been explained to locals and they are all good with the plan.
Their house aren't going to be bulldozed. Where'd you come up with that?
We don't need the road. The plans are all set to go on the existing site.
:rolleyes:marc71178 said:Also, most of the locals don't understand English, so how did you communicate with them?
