The second video is astonishing. Some of those deliveries are incredible. What a star.

I just checked that one out a few days ago. Some amazing deliveries from Warnie. YouTube has a pretty damn good collection of cricket video clips generally.

That flipper to Stewart is a thing of beauty. It looks so much like Warne's leg-break until it hits the pitch that it's absolutely uncanny.

The funny thing about that early part of Warne's career was that, as Mike Atherton admits, back then (because of the dearth of legspinners) modern batsmen barely knew what a flipper etc was. Even the commentators struggled. For instance, it's funny watching Warne's DVD where Tony Greig struggles to identify Warne's flipper to Richie Richardson in the 1992 Boxing Day Test. It's described as 'one that's kept a little bit low'. Greig didn't even mention the word 'flipper', yet it was the best (along with the Stewart delivery) one that he's bowled.

If Warne bowled a flipper today, Greig would still call it a "topspinner".
Greig would call a Brett Lee bouncer that hit the batsman on the head a "topspinner". He's called Warne's wrong'un exactly that already in the current tour, even when it turned big.
