Cricinfo.....very bad! How bad that the home of cricket could not update scores of the world cup warmers when it does ranji trophy matches in IND.
if Cricinfo had a decent competetitor then they would have lost out big time here...what a poor standard of reporting.

sometimes i wonder what will be the headline on cricinfo if West Indies(or any other team besides India) won the world cup or Tendulkar catches a cold

Crediting him with the turnaround of simply correcting pup's nickname? If it's the latter, I find it quite odd... you don't see people go around quoting posts that contain "Plunkers" or "Freddie" and correcting them now do you?
The former. I'd thought that was pretty obvious.

IMO Hogg played infinately the biggest part in the turnaround - the other seamers, McGrath excepted, had been decidedly poor earlier on, and did better when they came back later with the "soft underbelly" to bowl at. They have Hogg to thank for that.

The WI-Ind game NOT a 85 run pitch, by any stretch of the imagination.
Very few are.

I find it pretty difficult to conceive that such scores would happen on a good batting pitch, though. It can't really have been great for batting - the Aus-Eng game certainly isn't, even if England have done well to dress-up such a thing.

They're a business though, and they have to do whats financially feasible for them. The problem is there is no real competition, and if there is, they either don't do it either, or its not worth it for them as well.

They are a business but they are there to give all the latest on the world cricket. Remember, I am not asking them to update me on football.

If you are updating a match and negleting the others, what that mean? Update complately or leave it! dont update like a stop............start ............wait.......go ahead.....updates.... . Either update ball by ball for all the matches or else sit quietly.

When they update scores ball after ball for ranji trophy matches, why cant they do for warm ups when all the world is interested in.

It's pity that we are Stiill relying on just updates for the world cup warm ups even this era of 21st century.

True you would think the World Cup must be right up there though in importance! afterall Sky TV is not only covering the England warm ups but the Indians ones as well so there must be a demand for it.

You would think even if they can't cover it for resource reasons that with all their contacts and even at worst a phone call to the ground they could manage a little more frequant update than twice a match.

The West Indies would have bowled too many wides by the 49th over for the game still to be live.
I'm going to argue that the Dwayne Bravo no-ball that won it was deliberate tbh.

Pretty dire display from the WI-ians really.

Cricinfo headline says "Sri Lanka reply off to a flyer" but the scorecard and bulletin only report on the NZ innings. Does anyone have an update on that game please?

Pak needs 106 from 23 overs with 8 in hands..considering that the tem is full of A/R, they should chase it down..but again this is the worst team in the top 8:dry:

Great to hear Vincent and Fleming got plenty of time in the middle this morning with their 131 opening stand, and Fulton getting 59 compared to Styris's duck might have settled that selection dilemma, and that we dealt with Murali well (10-0-64-1)
