The pitch India played on wasn't a 300 pitch, even against minnows. Only thanks to some good middle order play by Dravid and Sachin did they get there. It was slow, low and did a bit off the seam. If there are pitches like that in some WC matches, you'll see 220 as possible winning scores.

Michael Holding just read my mind - I was wondering if the ground authorities are charging for admission to these games, and apparently they are. No wonder the stadium is virtually deserted for the India-Holland game. As Holding said, who's going to spend their money going to these games with the World Cup proper round the corner? Having said that there were England fans at yesterday's match - that's what I call dedication!
