An update on why the Pakistan game has been slow in updates!

ST AUGUSTINE, Trinidad, March 6 (Reuters) - A fallen sightscreen held up play for more than an hour in the World Cup warm-up match between Pakistan and Canada on Tuesday.

The temporary sightscreen, a flimsy, wheeled structure of steel and fabric divided into two sections, was blown over at southern end of the Frank Worrell Oval.

The incident halted play with Pakistan having limped to 82 for four in the 20th over.

A squad of at least 30 ground staff swarmed over the upended sightscreen and eventually managed to lift it upright.

The sightscreens were originally erected using cranes, and organisers feared the manual method employed by the ground staff might damage the welded joints.

But the black sails billowed once more and an early lunch was taken while ropes were retied in an attempt to stabilise the structure.

Jacob Oram and Brendon McCullum have given the NZ bowlers something to defend against Bangladesh

The Black Caps have been bowled out in the final over for 226 in their opening cricket World Cup warm-up match against Bangladesh in Barbados.

New Zealand recovered from 75 for 5 with Jacob Oram and Brendon McCullum putting on 105 for the sixth wicket. Oram top scored with 88 while McCullum was run out for 46.

Earlier, the top order failed with Lou Vincent out for four, Stephen Fleming for a duck, Ross Taylor for 11 and Peter Fulton for three. Daryl Tuffey and Mark Gillespie are not playing.

Gillespie's scan results on his 'dead arm' will be known later today.

Meanwhile, Australia's made 290 for 7 batting first against Zimbabwe in St Vincent. Michael Clarke top scored with 82 while Shane Watson scored 81.
