don't really see it, he is much more of a grinder than he is a destroyer, his best serieses and Knocks have him playing slow and steady (other than maybe one series). Lara is the only person there I'd describe as "dominant" really.

Agree, but he's still a good bit quicker scorer by comparison.

I agree with that but think it has a lot to do with the conditions faced and general era, I'm not quiet get definitive on Lara vs Smith.

Yea Smiths strike rate is about 54 while Huttons was around 38. Pretty massive difference.

at the end of the day both these guys are grinders, one is more defensive than the other as they're an opener but that doesn't really mean anything.
