He doesn't though. And you can use the same silly argument against Sehwag.

Anwar - 4 tons in 15 tests in SENA
Pant - 4 tons in 22 tests in SENA
Sehwag - 4 tons in 31 tests in SENA
Did I write the format ? It is Test + ODI.
Pant has 5 centuries against SENA countries
Sehwag has 7 centuries against SENA countries
Anwar has 4 centuries against SENA countries

Imagine a quality bat who is competing with Rishabh Pant in number of SENA countries.

I find it hilarious that a fellow Indian fanboy of yours can put Sadapogan Ramesh in league with Cook and Anwar and you choose to let that go, but then target me even though I rate Sehwag ahead, though just based on record.

So , you are telling me that Anwar knew how to play moving ball in Tests but he used to forget that technique in ODI. cool
Judge them as test batsmen please and stop all this desperate reaching for every scrap of irrelevant data to make Anwar look worse which you 100 percent wouldnt do if Sehwag had a comparable record in SENA.

There is no harm in admitting Anwar is a better all-conditions player but you prefer Sehwag for his destructiveness in SC conditions, double tons, etc. But trying to pretend Anwar wasnt just superior outside SC is dishonest.

Anwar career was too short to judge as compared to Sehwag. This is why his record in ODI can't be over looked.
Guy scored 50% runs of Sehwag with 4 less average and 30 less strike rate. No amount of torturing data will prove Anwar better.
This is like comparing Bond to Joel Garner.
And if Anwar was more quality bat , he would have ended with average of 50 because he didn't see decline like Sehwag in last 2 years .

I agree that Sehwag had a better test career output than Anwar and that is the only reason to put him forward though Anwar was a better batsman.
Ok, so by your own admission Sehwag is the one to actually perform better.
But you pick Anwar anyway because you’re an absolute dolt.

Sehwag wasn’t underrated in ODIs. His output was just too low.

Anwar's cover drive always felt like it was too loose a shot playing away from his body and should result in a caught behind. But it rarely did. Must have had a fantastic eye. Excellent batsman but also always looked peeved but maybe that was just his face. Better than Sehwag against swing but Sehwag better in other ways.

Sehwag had a better career by default because Anwar didn't play enough by ATG batsmen standards.

I can't believe that Subshakerz still engages and keeps arguing with the Indian brahs with the same **** thread after thread, always ends up like 10 v 1 as well. Absolute glutton for punishment but have to respect the persistence.

Love how he's just getting abused and always responds so seriously without acknowledging any of it, making it even more irritating. If he's doing it on purpose he's an absolute master.

I am obviously an Anwar fan but I will readily admit he had a weakness wafting outside off which guys like McGrath and Pollock exploited especially in ODIs, though not as much in tests for some reason.

Anwar had a ***y 'hand-eye co-ordination' but Steve Smith takes the cake.
