Wasn't my point really. His primary was still batting though. Jayasuriya in many ways revolutionized the attacking game and has a hefty long career. His adjusted average I believe will be significantly higher than Sehwag.

I love Sanath and even have him in my ATG team but he was given the player of the tournament for his all round performance and not just his batting.

Player of the tournament should have been Arvinda. It was given to Jayasuriya because of how he shocked the cricketing world.
