If someone has a poor record in some conditions or certain opponents, I don’t see why we shouldn’t point that out.
Makes sense to me.If someone has a poor record in some conditions or certain opponents, I don’t see why we shouldn’t point that out.
The only interesting thing here is the fact that 6 people voted that it's close.Interesting result

Even more interesting.

Ever since Jamieson found him out in early 2020 Kohli hasn't been the same (average of 30.72 in the 2020s).I would have voted Kohli and it's not close a few years ago ..
But his record in the 2020's does have to come at a price..
The decline being almost as long as his prime is my reason for voting Kohli and it's not close. I guess it depends how much this current decline of Kohli factors in to your estimation of the player. At onestage Kohli was talked about in the class of Lara, Tendulkar, Steve Smith but he's dropped off from that tier.
I’m pretty sure this includes neutral venues so games in the UAE are counted for the Pak playersView attachment 47475Kohli was 7th in the list in away records during his era if we count minimum 50 test matches
Younis and Kohli at a similar level I'd sayHe's better than all of them away from home bar Root and Smith.
I have Kohli, Miandad, Younis etc the same level.Younis and Kohli at a similar level I'd say
Probs Amla too, but that one is close. He's better than all of them away from home bar Root and Smith.
don't really consider Amla the same era but close, Kohli just.Probs Amla too, but that one is close.
