If we are only discussing ODI's only...I would say Virat Kohli...
If you bring both Tests and ODI's into discussion..then it's Sachin Tendulkar...
But Virat Kohli is also the best T20i batsman of all time...
But if you ask me best overall batsman of all time between Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar...better time to discuss that would be when Virat Kohli retires from all international cricket...

Virat is ahead of Sachin. Though, De Villiers remains the best ODI Batsman ever imho.

Upto you to rate the best overall batsman but in a comparison between Kohli and Tendulkar, you cannot be bringing in T20I as a factor since T20s were still in nascent stages at the end of Tendulkar's career. T20s in 90s and 2000s would have seen Tendulkar, Lara, Ponting, Jayasuriya, Sehwag, Symonds, Klusenar all being the top T20 players.

Tendulkar was just a better batsman in terms of all around game, range of shots etc imo. Kohli on approximately the same level though.

Would of thought it would now have to be Virat if there wasn't any doubt before.
That average for nearly 300 matches is actually beyond ridiculous.
More centuries scored and he's played 170 less matches.
With such a large set of data available, clearly a much better strike rate as well.
For me not only is he better than Sachin, but MR Kohli is now MR
Viv can go and jump in the bin.

Kohli is definitely as good as AB IMO
Would have Kohli and Tendulkar close for second though still marginally prefer the latter. Agree that de Villiers is some way behind, albeit a very honourable fourth.

Abd kinda underachieved in both formats since he retired early. Should have played the 2019 wc and should have played all the tests from 2016-2021
How can you consider Kohli and AB to be in different leagues? I find anyone who puts anyone who puts anyone between them a bit weird, let alone different leagues. They are so close.
