Loss of hand eye coordination has seen him continually nick balls he used to drive and push outside off stump. His range of shots elsewhere isn't the best so he hasn't been able to restrict himself enough.

He doesn't have many release options v spin. For example he never sweeps or skips down the track, and his home pitches have got tougher as he's aged so his decline has coincided with a perfect storm there.

Not sure on Greenidge personally, might be in between the Smith/Cook tier and the Boycott/Crowe tier for me personally
