Just watched his Brutal 80 off 30 odd in today's game.

Equally impressive was Milne's last spell of 20 balls in the Hundred. On form he'd be my first T20 pace bowling pick if the WC started tomorrow, with Ferguson a smidgen behind.

Milne has been outstanding this summer, too. Top of the Hundred economy rates, and 3rd in wickets behind the leggies. You're right, on form he'd have to be in our XI.

Did all of this batting 4/5 aswell, which IMO makes it WAY more impressive.
Seriously impressive. Bit disappointed he couldn't buy a run in the Championship though.

Does anyone know who has the NZ broadcast rights for the upcoming overseas tours? Neither Spark nor Sky have them listed on their websites.

There's a good chance a VPN will come in handy for the Bangladesh ones. Unless the Foxtels were just too abrasive in negotiations last month.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board sold its broadcast rights to BanTech, a marketing agency, in May this year in a two-year deal reported in local media to be worth about US19m. BanTech then sublicenses those rights to broadcasters, both in Bangladesh and abroad.

But it's understood negotiations with Australian broadcasters – including Foxtel and free-to-air broadcasters – broke down and a deal could not be struck ahead of the first match of the series.

While the series is available to viewers outside Australia on YouTube, the rights holders have instructed the RabbitholeBD channel that regularly streams Bangladesh cricket matches to black out the Australian market.

Yes BanTech seem a bit petty. At least Haroon Lorgat and CSA eventually gave the opposition's fans some free streams, when they tried to play hardball and get New Zealand broadcasters to step up to his vain, 'prestige' price points.

Rabbithole channel will be streaming on youtube and this time hopefully it will be available in NZ. I’ve read a comment from higher ups that timing of the matches adjusted keeping NZ viewers in mind

Was just going to post the same. Adam Milne is 100% in NZ's best T20 side. I know the tournament is in India but if we were allowed a redo of the squad today, Milne in for Astle every day of the week. 12 dot balls in 15, and the other 3 being singles, in a final is just ridiculous.

Is there a clash in commitments for Milne in regards to why he isn't in the squads for neither the Pakistan or Bangladesh T20s series' but is our non-travelling for the World Cup?

Milne just on a different level these days compared to others....and the man is now getting wickets too along with low economy rate he's always had

his subtle changes in pace are terrific

milne lockie boult sodhi santner for me as our attack

southee jamieson and astle just not deserving enough

he's in the IPL, hopefully he gets a ton of game time there off the back of his current form

really solidify his case for the wt20 as its being played in the same venues as the IPL

Jamieson over Milne was the contentious selection, imo, not Astle.

It will be played on UAE pitches which will be very tired, after IPL, Astle will get a role. Or else a 3rd part-time spinner from among the specialist bats.

Glenn Phillips has picked up an IPL contract for second half IPL. Replacing Joss Butler.

Good stuff.

NZ may need to call up someone else for the Bang/Pak serieses.
