I would probs agree with Bond being better than Anderson ability wise. Shame it wasn’t to be production wise.

Yes but only based on overall career. Anwar was a more dangerous player.

Maybe didn’t have a better career but I reckon he was a better Test bat than Sehwag. Both monsters in Asia, Anwar better outside. Did better than Inzy in the 90s.

Anwar was a more quality opener than Sehwag. But Sehwag managed plenty of double and triple tons at a fast scoring rate that is hard to ignore in the final assessment.

Sehwag gets into alltime 11s because he was DIFFERENT, while being comparable to Anwar, Greenidge, Hayden.. Etc.

Yeah but as an opener his record in swinging conditions is so poor that it negates the advantages he gives when playing on flatter wickets.

Anwar was the better Test bat for me and I’m English. Unfortunately his sample size of Tests will always work against him in comparisons.
