Well if you sign 4 good players for 1 great player then you will have to release a few of them or your good players...I've got 12 players at the moment but that's because I don't get rookies.

How does the balance goes.U have to retain 10 in the end before the draft.So U can trade 3 of 1 or 2 for 1.And in the end decide on which 10 u want to retain before the DP and all others are gone in the Draft.By doing this if u give three above avg players to a team which has just a single good player and no one else.So the team become strong by getting 3 players who are not as good as the one traded but can balance the week side.

But then that person doesn't have to dump as many people - the idea is people dump 6 at the end from 16 - so surely the rules should in that case still be that people have to dump 6?

What difference does it makes if we dump more than 6.If the manager is willing to take 4 for 1 then it is his look out to retain whom and drop whom.If he doenst has any problem then y anyone else has.He will do this type of trade only when he feels that it will improve his side.

This season also there have been many trades in which team 1 has traded 1 very good player and one crap for two good players of the team 2.Now team 2 will put the crap player in the dp.If 2 for 1 is allowed then there is no difference as team 1 will put the crap player in the dp.So by this way or that the crap players is going in the dp.So there is no difference.

Your idea about voting Board Members in is a good one in fact myself and GB talked about it a while back, when Lord, Eyes and Bug's never seemed to be around.

BUT What you have to remember is that Board Members need to be around reguraly and willing to attent this like the Board meetings etc..

When myself and GB talked about this before we said should we just replace Board members each year to give them a taste of what's involded etc or vote them in like you have said, we thought about who we would like if we chose them and 3 names came out, then in the next few months 2 of them hardly ever came onto the forum (happy to say they are back now).

However until GB returns Iam not in a postion to say this will certianly happen, but I can't see why not.

I think at the end of the day Rich, the board is something that all members should have confidence. At least three of these board members are well respected, and everyone like these people. Those three are GB, Rich and Bugs. However others, who I wont name, aren't around, or dont have the support or respect of the the WCC members. Of coarse Rich, this is yourself and GB's decision, but I think it would be a good thing.

I totally agree with this.

RE: Board Elections UN Security Council-style. We need to be careful that it keeps a sense of purpose and doesn't degenerate into a UN-style talking shop.

No, go ahead and name them - we all know who you're talking about - so why not just say it?
