Give it a rest guys. It must be fairly obvious to you that those in charge don't want to entertain discussion on such changes.

no, i think we have every right to create topics like this, there are 6 board members and 24 non board members, imagine what this comp would be like if we have no say.
for the record i voted yes.

If you want to make suggestions that's fine, but there's a way to making suggestions, and starting polls is not the way.

If you have ideas then U2U a member of the board and ask them to discuss it - however this particular rule would be unlikely to change because it's already been discussed at length when the equal trades was brought in.

But y not polling. We can get to see the majority. If the point is discussed only by 6 board members then there is only 6 views and by polling we get 30 views.Decision should be made by the board but by taking everyones view in account. After the result of the poll the board members can decide which option is good taking in account the general view also.

Yeah, but it's still GB's baby and what he decides goes. If we don't like the way he wants to run it, we have the choice not to participate. Whilst I fully agree that it's good to discuss new ideas, this one has been flogged to death on several occasions and GB has made his position clear. Let's have the good grace to accept his decision.

while i ageree and respect that i want to say that i really do think that since people have serious opinions we should have a discussion about it, as long as tempers stay calm etc

I think all members of WCC should be aloud to vote in a new board at the start of next season, with the exception of GB, and Rich who deservedly hold a place. As for all the other positions they should be for us, the members, to decide, just like the do in Fifa or other sports bodies!

Who here agrees?

i think it should be 3 permanant members and 1 voted in, if a vote were to take place GB would have the final say if it were deadlocked - and on the 3 permanant members - GB, Rich and Buggs

Sheesh this is getting like Lord Of The Flies!!!

I think there should be a board but also since we all take part in this league we should all have a say in some of the issues. I for one do not want unequal trading as GB has made it so that each side must have 16 players, no more, no less. Allow people to trade multiple players for one player takes away the balance.

I think a better idea would be thinking about the single transfer of players: Making it so that you sign who you want or you pick them up in the draft later, as you can't sign loads of other players you don't want then trade them on for someone else you do want.

That would be a better discussion.

why not, i see no problem with that, also it was voted on and people tended to agree with this viewpoint

What you mean with what I just said about trading players on? The problem is if we have unequal trading and trading players on the game will become seriously complicated!

How does the balance goes.U have to retain 10 in the end before the draft. So U can trade 3 of 1 or 2 for 1.And in the end decide on which 10 u want to retain before the DP and all others are gone in the Draft.By doing this if u give three above avg players to a team which has just a single good player and no one else.So the team become strong by getting 3 players who are not as good as the one traded but can balance the week side.

Actually last season we had unequal trading and it didnt cause that much problem, the problem was when it came to draft pick. As long as every team ends up with 10 players before the draft uneven trading should be allowed.

As for the board, im not a member so i dont know what goes on, but i still picture WCC to be GB's so he makes the ultimate decision with the assistance of board members. So i dont see if being on the board will make any difference, like if u were to tell GB a reasonable suggestion im sure he would consider it.
