Who cares about perceived weaknesses?

Yuvraj consistently does better than Pietersen in T20s at intl and domestic level.

He is the better T20 player.
KP has only taken it seriously since he realise he'd make a fortune from playing it. He's been a class above everyone in a few of the matches this competition.

You cannot have weaknesses in a format like this. Against a top side I'd still fancy KP to perform, not so much Yuvraj.

Based on current form:

Tilekaratne Dilshan
Chris Gayle [C]
Shahid Afridi [6]
AB de Villiers [Wk]
Yuvraj Singh
Dwayne Bravo
Daniel Vettori [3]
Umar Gul [5]
Dale Steyn [2]
Ajantha Mendis [4]
Lasith Malinga [1]

Play those bowlers in the death.

I personally think that Dhoni is unnecessary in a team based on current form in a T20 team. Abdv and Dilshan can do a fair job of keeping wickets imo.

I've just done quite a long search and am surprised that nothing of this effect has been discussed of late. It's possibly a suggestion that the format hasn't been taken seriously enough yet to merit one - but amidst the present shenanigans I thought it would be interesting to see what you guys think.

My XI
+BB McCullum
CH Gayle
KP Pietersen
Yuvraj Singh
AB de Villiers
BJ Hodge
A Morkel
*DL Vettori
BAW Mendis
SL Malinga
DW Steyn

pako007

School Boy/Girl Cricketer
1Imran Nazir/ Tillekeratne Dilshan(imran nazir really miss him the most attacking player of fast bowling, Dilshan really innnovative)
2Chris Gayle(monster hitter)
3Shahid Afridi(matured now i think and great spin bowler ofc)
4Kumar Sangakarra(c+wk)(Great leader no puppet with the gloves either, after afridi and the openers you need a builder like him)
5Andrew Symonds(as a pakistani i fear symonds the most of the australian team or any team)
6Yuvraj Singh(great hitter is a lefty also benificial)
7Dwayne Bravo/Abdul Razzaq(Bravo great form, great cricketer/ same for Razzaq)
8Lasith Malinga(Great death bowler)
9Wayne Parnell/Muhammed Amir(Great prospects, will be the future these two if they get signed up by county`s or something)
10Umar Gul(best 20/20 bowler in consecutive years)
11Ajanthja Mendis/Ajmal(you need unorthodox so i would go for mendis, but his form is quite questionable so Ajmal wouldn`t be a bad option)

De Players after the slash are the reserves or back-ups you can say. I didn`t put them first coz theen it would be biased. I think Pakistan has the best bowlers they need only one or two. And they struggle in the opening and middle-order. I put the replacements. Think this team is the best IMO.
