Also, why was MB dropped? For the 1 test he played, he had a bowling average of 65, or whatever. Mr Ponting has played 5 tests, with a bowling average that is no better. Why wasn't Mr Ponting dropped, but MB was?

Mr Ponting has a better FC record and the CWBCC considered him more likely to take wickets after watching both players bowl several times.

We're going with a two seam attack and relying on spin for the rest. Neil will lead the spin portion with lord backing up and Andre and Cloete providing any necessary overs. Bugssy will be used as a third seamer and probably first change. All in all it looks a fairly balanced attack and our chances seem good.
