And Headley is the only bloke who's 100s to test ratio was close to Bradman

Maybe he really is the undisputed number 2

I mean casuals don't have the same love affair for Dean Jones as an ODI great as CW

And they would also probably assume Warne to be the GOAT regardless of format

Just goes to show the people voting on this are probably mostly people who haven't watched much cricket from the 80s/90s.

Jones vs Waugh is pretty close. Jones probably better but Waugh had an excellent career. But the killer is that Jones played so long ago you basically need to be at least mid 30s, if not in your 40s to remember him batting.

Hayden vs Bevan result was a sad joke. Hayden was awesome but was nowhere near Bevan in ODIs. Bevan criminally underrated. I bet Red Hill voted like 100 times in that poll.

Brett Lee making the final 4 ahead of McGrath is simply absurd.

It's pretty clear the final will be between Ponting and Warne, which is ok, but Australia's best ODI bat (Bevan) and ODI bowler (McGrath) were both knocked out earlier.

McGrath not making the final makes the whole thing a joke. Warne's reputation is built around his world cup performances but McGrath was still the greatest WC bowler, bar none.

Brett Lee is an all-time great ODI bowler,
handy lower order batsman and a brilliant fielder.
I don't think Lee making it to the final 4 is absurd.

Strange. You'd expect those results to show up on a Facebook or Cricinfo poll rather than on here.

The general casual opinion would probably have Warne at 2nd in both formats. Nothing wrong with this I think. He had a full length odi career and didn't chuck. CW is a bit harsh on him in odis, particularly considering the lack of competition.
