How can so many American universities have 100,000+ seat stadiums?? How is that even viable, when professional sporting teams can't maintain that a stadium that big and pull crowds that huge?

I know they take college football really seriously but FFS, how do they get all the money? How do they get such big crowds?
they get the crowds because they play just 11 or 12 games a year.

Twickenham, Old Trafford, Millenium Stadium, Murrayfield, Goodison.

Missed out on the first final at Wembley due to Leeds festival last year. Keeping the date open for when we make it this year.

Don't agree with the thread title though. "Top" makes it sound like you're implying that they're better just because they're bigger.

AT&T Park
Elland Road

Out of those I have listed, New Wembley is by far the best. The concourse is a little drab but everything else is perfect. Its magnificent whist still feeling like a sports stadium. Unlike somewhere like AT&T Park that feels like a walk in the park that happens to take place whilst an event is going on.
