Jadeja overrated? Outside cw jadeja is pretty underrated. But I guess Greig is more underrated. Jadeja imo.

Jadeja here, but Grieg is a better bat, I would say. Very, very underrated on that end.
After Sobers and Kallis I wonder who are the best batting sided true all-rounders (don't say Hammond, lol)? Grieg surely has to be high on that list.

Can go either way. Jadeja would've averaged 30+ as bowler if he was not Indian, so not much to choose there between them. Fielding-wise, Jadeja's untouchable in the outfield but then Greig was brilliant up close too. Comes down to their batting really.

I don't think this is true. I think he would be in a similar tier as Kumble if he had to lead a similar quality Indian attack, although not quite as much of a workhorse, probably would end up with a slightly better average, for mine and didn't have Ashwin.
Also, in that scenario his batting would probably slightly suffer, but I think he's overall one of the better all-rounders as a batsman, certainly gotten himself over the "lower order handy all-rounder" group.

Greig will always have my respect for facing up to Lillee and Thommo with the bat. I think he is a much better bat than Jadeja

Made a solid account of himself there and did well v quality spin too. Definitely a better bat than Jadeja.

Greig also was a good leader.

Greig is in a clear class above the other 3 as a bowler. He had a good scattering of match winning performances in his career including 2 10fers, and had a decent bowling workload throughout.
Others are part-timery, and certainly are a gulf away in career average.
