I echo Tharmi's sentiments here. It's a hard battle for me, as i am currently doing my Honours work along with few other projects to get myself a PhD scholarship, then on top of that i also do work so i do get very buzy. Simming the games are quite easy when everyone submits a team, but still takes atleast an hour to sim all the games.

An hour now might seem small, but when the assignments and other commintments shape up in life, its very hard, by that i am not saying that i won't be putting my 100% in its just that delays do happen from time to time on my side of things. Giving it a short break and starting fresh is something i also opt for.

i am happy to help tharmi continue running. starting from scratch sounds like the best option. like wcc is just beggining withh all new players and teams. i am more than happy to help run and or continue doing what ever i am allowed to do but i guess strict rules and guidelines will be in place along with a hell of alot of other things to get wcc back up to where it once was. the only thing i feel is who determines what 12 managers get the go ahead.........maybe 18 or 14 or 16 depending on numbers.

in the coming months i will sit down with tharmi and put together a proposal for all to see.

i am and want to be here for wcc for ever guys. lets all do the same!

To be honest I don't have the time or ability to run a league like this properly with more then 8-12 teams. It just takes too many time and effort to do the little things that need to be done properly.

Simon and Blewy put up a high benchmark that I doubt many can achieve, you basically need to put a lot of things in your life on hold to run it the way they ran the league. If I was to continue running the game, I could only do it in a way I can manage which is with 8-12 teams.

I also think with a core group of managers, we might get more activity around the game. As managers who will be selected are the ones who have shown the most interest in the past. With a small group of managers there would have to be option for secondary managers to get involved.

yer ok cool, hey i totally understand mate

i have a wife and 5 kids, we run a non charitable organisation called www.littlewonders.org.au i work in a high profile demanding job that takes me away for 10 days at a time so i understand that you need alot of time and commitment.

i just hope i can be part of that core 8 - 12 managers as i have been with WCC from its begining. Whatever wcc needs to keep it a good sim.

lets take a break is my 5 cents.. but i echo tharmi's statements above..its not that ive lost interest but i havent got time.. yet i really want to be committed with my hampshire team.. as Wcc keeps me at CW.

I reckon reduce number of teams after break to core managers... the old ones plus the dedicated ones....and perhaps take out 2ndXI.. and get it back to its old simple format.. just have say 18 man squads or something with 2 divisions of 5/6 teams.

Echo LoD sentiments...I know I'm not part of WCC anymore, but I was thinking of getting back into it.

i think everyones, saying sensible stuff - maybe even one large division of 12 would be interesting as it would be more competitive and there'd be more banter hopefully - thanks u bugs and tharmi for all the effort u guys have put into this and i hope that when this gets back up and running in a couple of months it'll be buzzin!

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Keep it going ffs and keep the current teams and players.

We still haven't got the phone and net connected but once we do I volunteer to sim ALL games on time as long as the rest of the WCC board does the off season stat updates and everything.

Should have regular access by end of next week, I hope.

I think we should continue it but that's only if matches are going to be run within 1-2 days of normal time. Otherwise, perhaps taking a break might be the way to go. I'll be satisfied with whatever the outcome, I know I've been a bit slack lately, but a part of that was I wasn't sure when games would be run and wasn't particularly keen on double submitting when a round hadn't been completed. In saying that, it's no excuse for my poor submission rate this season .
