So after being stupidly dropped by MI, he’s come back strong and ended the tournament averaging 37.2 at a staggering SR of 216.

Should probably turn up for Australia in a T20 series or two where the main players are resting from national duties after making IPL $$. Could make the first XI in due course as well.

Reckon he already fit's into the best 11, wade has had a horror IPL and inglis forcing a permanent spot in the side means we have somoene else who can keep.

Smith isn't a versitile enough batsmen in t20's to demand a spot when marsh is in god mode at #3. Has been poor in the ipl over the past 2 years, struck at under 100 last world cup when he was forced to bat 4 or lower the whole time and recently was forced out due to concussion, which was when inglis started hammering out runs all over the 11.

Finch being dropped is a good point, don't see managment doing that until the end of the world cup though.

marsh/maxi/stoinis/tim david/inglis is a brutal middle order to bowl to if you don't have at least one world class spinner in your attack

Averaging 32 with an SR of 180 so far, hope he goes well in the finals. Livingstone out will be a blow for the Lancs though they do seem to have breezed past Essex.
