this guy made 2000 runs in ICC2006...

That is virtually impossible. He drew the match so that didn't help but it is possible to cheat and get not out. But it takes the fun out of the game. I like trying to fight. How is scoring 2216 runs with no wickets lost good?

In the real world, they would call for the heads of the Sri Lankan captain who let the match go all five days and not declare. The bowlers would be stuffed and probably boycott the tour. (Putting on my ICC official cap) "I believe it is a disgrace. It shows players going out to break records and not just play the game."

But seriously, it would be impossible to do without cheating. Highest I've ever scored (without cheating) is 900-odd, all out!

I got 1000+ without cheating.

Yeah, 1000+ is achievable. I've done it a couple of times when I've had the County title wrapped up and wanted to do a bit of selfish average boosting for my batsman. Never have I made 1000 without losing a wicket though 8-)

The fact that you get "partnership record" when he gets to 1899 is a dead giveaway that he's played that over and got out at ~1898 at least once before...

Hahaha. Nice spot.

Okay, then I must be a bad player compared to most. My highest partnership is 650-odd, highest individual score is 400-odd and highest team score is 900-odd. I don't like seeing unrealistic scores in record books. If you get it on legitimate terms, it's fine, but it just seems too good to be true.

he cheated, i've done it before but it is the boring way out
It takes for ever to finish a game because the more you cheat the more the players go out.

You can exit ICC without saving by doing that. Then continue from where you last saved.

Well, same thing. Brings you to the task manager, from where you can choose to 'End Task' on your ICC game. So, if you'd saved it recently and one of your batsmen just got out, you could quit without having to save, and then load up your previously saved game.
