A bit of rotation is good, but I`d prefer to see our best team on the paddock. I`m not using this for personal gain, by all means if I`m playing crap, drop me!

Here's a match report for our game with Millwall - I enjoyed writing that :)

Millwall 1 CricketWeb 1
0-1 Haffy 13
1-1 Phillips 20

In an entertaining first five minutes, both Millwall and the Webbers produced big chances alone with the opponents' keeper, but Dave Richards for the Webbers and Simpson and May for Millwall were both thwarted by the respective goalkeepers. Millwall put the pressure on early in the match, controlling possession, yet it was the Webbers who broke through first as Hoy won a header duel in the midfield, and Richards picked up the ball to send a lovely first-touch through ball over Millwall's Matt Lawrence, and Haffy received it and sent it to the left of keeper Marshall for 1-0 in the 13th minute. The goal came virtually out of the blue, Millwall having controlled the run of play before the goal, and they continued to create chances.

Thus, it came as a relief for the home crowd that the duck was broken in the 20th minute, Mark Phillips passing through to Barry Hayles who rounded Walsh before placing a well-struck finish past a diving Pickup right inside his far post for 1-1. The Webbers struck back right from the kick-off, though, the vibrant Haffy rounding his man Lawrence once again before shooting over the goal. Millwall took over shortly after the half-hour, however, creating a number of chances off corner kicks with Lawrence playing the role of a bomber in the penalty area. The half ended with the Web in control, however, the Norwegian Mørk orchestrating the midfield despite playing in an unfamiliar position.

Two bookings, one for either side, marked the beginning of the second half, but Millwall continued to find easy paths through the Webbers' defence. Thirteen minutes into the half, the invisible Kiwi Cbuts was taken off, along with the more impressive Lancashire striker Richards. Ash Chaulk and Blewy entered the pitch for CW, but failed to make much of an impact on the run of play, except for Blewy being fouled by Igoe, resulting in a booking. Chaulk nearly created one chance with an appalling throw-in, but Pickup fisted it clear, and Broncoman picked up the ball in the midfield to get a good cross to the far post in. Unfortunately, no Webber even attempted to receive it, as CW wasted their biggest chance of the half. The match, however, petered out to a drab draw, with Neil Pickup being named Man of the Match for some excellent saves. Broncoman impressed with his creative passing, while Hoy played Red Baron in the Webbers' penalty area, taking out every aerial danger.
