183 points for my side, enough to secure third place. Could've been much better though as I had enough money to purchase Phil Waugh (who scored 70 points), only to change to Radike Samo at the last minute...
i've done that a few times and yeah it does **** you off pretty bad

If he doesn't return this week, I'm fairly certain he'll be back for week five of the competition.

You can say that again, I'm really disappointed not to have selected him in the end.

Big win for The 'Canes in difficult conditions. They were absolutely shredded up front, but Jimmy Gopperth played a magical game. He kicked superbly & made a coupla decent line-breaks; then to crown his night he nailed the winning drop with about 90 seconds left on the clock.

Looking like the discovery of the year.

It was a really poor game of rugby IMO.. the league that followed ( Roosters v.s. Broncos ) was much better to watch. Still as a Canes fan we will take the win.

Gopperth looks very very good doesnt he?

Don't tell me the result!! We get a delayed broadcast of NRL as-live over here! :D

But yeah, lots of knock-ons & dropped-balls. Stormers really shoulda won quite comfortably. Had far more of the ball. &, is it me, or has Jerry Collins put on a bit of weight lately?

Can't say I noticed him being overwieght but I did notice that the loose forwards wern't working as well as they usually do. They missed Rodney i'd say.

Also they missed Peri Weepu big time IMO.

Broncos v.s Roosters - I won't tell you the result but I will say it is worth watching. Some great tries

Big win for The 'Tahs. 42-12. The Bulls looked pretty woeful 2nd half, the last 20 mins you could see that they really didn't wanna be there. Pining for Pretoria!

Anyone with Peter Hewat is laughing too; a hat-trick of tries & kicked about 20 points. If Rogers is back next week it'll be interesting to see who kicks. Phil Waugh was kwality at the break-downs, him against Rich McCaw next week will be v interesting.

Poor old Lote Tuquiri dropped a big b0llock tho; clean thru to score & only needed to ground the ball for a try, but he decided to be flash, used one hand & dropped it! :D

Haha Tuquiri was classic.. shades of Christian Cullen against the Waratahs about 3 or so years ago..

Trying to work it out I reckon Hewat's gonna be worth nearly 100 points this round.

3 tries @ 15 points = 45 + 25points for 3 tries for team
2 conversions @ 5 points = 10 points
5 penalties @ 3 points = 15 points

You'll lose some for the missed conversions (3 per miss IIRC), but he made some tackles too, so BM's quids in!

Yeah Simon and I did it just before. His beat tackles should bring him up alot....

We thoguht it would be about 90
