Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Read an article recently which claimed that snooker's popularity was booming virtually everywhere but the UK

No idea whether it's true or not but it major events still seem to get plenty of press there

Just for completeness, Judd Trump is the Champion in 2019. Probably the first time that the Champion has shared a surname with the US President.

World Championship starting on 31st July and allowing 300 spectators per session. Snooker players are used to playing with little or no crowd, albeit not at the Crucible. Presumably the annoying people who insist on coughing will have a greater incentive to suppress it.

Anthony Hamilton withdrew because they were letting spectators in and he was concerned about his asthma. Probably not best pleased now that spectators are not allowed in.

There's been a few ranking tournaments played this season - all in Milton Keynes but all retaining their original name. I know The Irish Open sounds better than The Milton Keynes Open, but it's slightly misleading. :artist:

The World Championship is going to have 33% of capacity crowds for the First Round, 50% for the Second Round, 75% for the Quarters and Semis and 100% for Final. Spectators will have to have a test and wear masks.

Selby v Murphy in the Final of the World Championship. An indoor test event where a capacity crowd was allowed but only about 600 of the 980 capacity was reached for the first session.
