First bit of snooker I've watched today. Carter has been woeful, but fair to say that Ronnie looks in pretty good nick. He's taken his chances well (two tons this afternoon). Looks like 3 months off has left him pretty fresh, clearly a big threat to all now.

I don’t think it makes that much difference that he’s missed so much, I think this game will do him then world of good in terms of getting back to match sharpness, and besides, he took the year off before winning it in 2013!
