Is drinking Beer really the best way to ensure you're in condition for a game?!
You mean to put restrictions on drinking beer because it will hurt performanceS?

Beer is hardly heavy and one or wo glasses in the bar or in the hotel room in the evening is surely acceptable.

As a responsible member of the team, I would like to see alcoholism dealt with in the early stages. If you are drinking alcohol for it's drink/taste value, then it's simply beyond a casual thing, it's an ADDICTION!

Alcohol at parties is fine by me, infact I oppose parties without it, but still, beer tastes crap. So I demand that Pratyush be sent to rehab IMMEDIATELY! And detox, which is probably a given, given the circumstances.

Oh wow so if I liked some thing which didnt taste crap. you wouldnt suggest me going to rehab? :D

I am a casual drinker as a CW player. Nothing else! And that too beer which is far less intoxicating than other drinks!

From what you've said it's much more than 1 or 2 though.
It hasnt effected my performance in any way and I am practising consistently without ever being late for nets and not partying late.

So I dont see any problem. :p

I am beginning to stage a protest against the professional athletes of CW Reds drinking beer - whatever is necessary!

You think it's bad now? Wait til big ole Ian Markus comes back from CW XI duties! Beer and Pies is the daily special.

I dont think Carib Beer, a major ponsor in the West Indies would be happy with such a decision. So I dont think FICA would be too happy if such a thing happens. And that would put our international players in bad stead :)

it's alright guys... just don't mix the drinks with the pokies and stuff.... then u start getting into trouble... beer really can make team bonding easier.... the foulest body odour can smell like the sweetest scent... the most boring ******* can be funny... and the most stubborn captain might even consider giving u a bowl.

but once it starts getting in the way of cricket guys it's just not cool. i'm known to take anyone on in drinking comps.... but not if it's going to effect me in the middle... so keep it real in the pub in my absence

Any suggestions for getting out of this slump? Tonight'll be the last game for some of you, given that Zaid, Markus, Robbins and Watt are going to walk back into the team....pressure time...
