Yeah Sanz. I see you're drawing false conclusions again. Some things never change

You've quoted the article. Now read it again, and tell me where does he mention anything about his BATTING ? He talks of his LEADERSHIP, but not his BATTING. And what was the reason he suggested that Ganguly drop himself ? Right, his BATTING ! So, come again, wheres the doublespeak ?
And If ganguly is really that good of Leader(IMO he isn't) that chappell talks about then yes he should play purely as captain. Ever heard the name Mike Brearly or why go that far back, How about Michael Vaughan in ODIs.

Because, like it or not, playing elevens are selected on the eve of a match, not a month in advance . Its a simple concept to get if you actually pay attention to what I say.
The Captain isn't selected on the eve of the match, the touring squad isn't selected on the eve of the match, thi finall XI is and as a captain Ganguly has to be the part of the final XI. If ganguly doesn't deserve to be in the team ahead of Yuvraj/Kaif or doesn't desrve to be the captain then why is he there in the tour squad ?

Why didnt he say so when the selectors were selecting the squad ? Just the simple reason that THEY DIDNT INVITE HIM !!! gee, talk about drawing conclusions with incomplete information.
Talk about the ignorant, who says he wasn't invited ?? Let me guess you must have picked it from SJS's post which was nothing but Tabloid RIP Off.

"....The selection panel, headed by Kiran More, which met in Mumbai on Saturday along with national coach Greg Chappell and captain Sourav Ganguly...."

But all that is wrong, SJS's post without link, without any proof is the epitom of facts and truth.

Actually I am done on this thread. Continue with you lies, beliefes and fallacies.

Thats where you're going wrong. He doesnt. The coach can suggest that he shouldnt be in there, but the captain can easily overrule that opinion. Theres no need to go to town with it, which started the whole hullabullo.

Let me quote Sachin Tendulkar:

"It’s difficult for me to speak on the issue, but such talks should not come out of the dressing room. If they come out, then it’s not right. Dressing-room discussions should remain within the dressing room only"..
If ganguly doesn't deserve to be in the team ahead of Yuvraj/Kaif or doesn't desrve to be the captain then why is he there in the tour squad ?
If Kaif doesnt deserve to be in the team ahead of Ganguly/Yuvraj and isnt even captain, then why is he there in the tour squad ?

Once again you have displayed an inability to delve into the crux of the subject matter before forming your opinions.

Sample this :

"Sources in the BCCI said coach Greg Chappell would not attend the meeting to pick the captain.

But Chappell would take part in the discussionsthe next day with the captain when the selectors meet here to choose the rest of the squad for the tri-series and two-Test series in Zimbabwe, they said.
"

But I guess that the Tribune must be a tabloid too, since thats what newspapers that do not support your claims and ideas get labelled by you ;)

Ha! You obstinately stick to your ill-formed opinions, keep trolling in an attempt to save face, and then actually accuse other members of lying and fallacies without accounting for your inadequacies in ascertaining the complete truth. Thats rich ! I know I'm wasting my time and bile on you. Have a good life. This is the last you're hearing from me on this subject. Its just not worth it to hear a broken record go on.
