Alberto Del Rio has an overall winning record in MMA iirc. As does Batista come to think of it.

In fact I think Bobby Lashley has a very strong MMA record (though I think that's probably just down to him fighting a load of dross).

And then there's Ken Shamrock obvs, but not sure if he counts.

As for the current lot. Ziggler and Swagger are the only ones I can think of who have amateur backgrounds, which I guess would be the biggest indicator of likely success.

Well there's Matt Riddle......

You've got a few guys in the indies/non-WWE world like Kyle O'Reilly and Davey Richards who do pretty regular MMA-style training, so they'd at least be better suited than Punk was, along with the amateur wrestling guys like Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler, but athletically they're all nothing compared to Brock. Jeff Cobb is a pretty good athlete, but he's 34 and only just started getting good bookings now. You can see a bit of him and Riddle at the start of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXK2RMLdMck

Conor-Alvarez is going to be nuts, and yeah, what a card. Seriously excited for all 5 main card fights, and it's stacked all the way down. Roll on November 12th!

Incredible main event. How the hell did he survive not one but two punches like that from Hendo?

Incredible showing from both those guys. I had read many of the analysts basically saying that Hendo was past it and this would be boring. So glad everybody was wrong..
