I don't understand why Rik is coping so much in this thread. His bunch of retards are doing surprisingly well. Of their ten league games they have won 6 (2 one dayers, 4 four dayers). A good effort, compared to the likes of Surrey, who have not won a four day game, and who only have won 2 one day games.

We're playing against much tougher opposition in sides that have been built over a couple of seasons, whereas my trading this time was affected by out of WCC matters, hence I didn't put a lot of time into it.

Having said that, one of the games we won was against a side that went through last year without losing at all, and we're drawing a few, so to quote Coldplay - everything's not lost.

Retards???

What's so impressive is that I haven't lost every OD game! With the figures my players have I shouldn't be in with a sniff! And as for 4D, I don't have many stars but they all work well as a unit, as with just about every successful side :)

you have just been lucky that most of the other div 5 sides cant play 1d either. look im 6/6 in 1d and i expected to be much stronger in 4d than 1d.

It's what happens when you get generated stats, and when I pick a team from a country who rarely play OD cricket...:duh:

4D is what I set up for, and it seems to be working :D
