Guy's been moaning because he thinks he can walk in and play at 5 despite us having a reasonable enough top 5. Then had a moan because i didn't play him when i was giving the non-OD regulars a run at the end of the season.

He's lucky as quite a few rookies don't get the amount of games he did in the season. Hell, some guys who have been here for a while played less games this season than Dinnen.

Struggle to think that he'd get more game time at Blue, Red, Black or Colts when all players are available. Best bet is a 6th team I guess.

In serious, if there is a 6th team, would be interested personally if they dont have a decent spin department, only reason being me and Corrin are far too similar players and i'm not going to be toppling him any time soon. Wouldnt want to leave Greens for anywhere else, and would only go for the 6th team if it looked pretty likely i'd start most games. If that was the case, would like the captains blessing, but TBH any other scenario and I'm more than happy here

Top 5 was more than reasonable in FC at the start of the season, I'm sure I jokingly asked them if they could fail so that others could get a look in. Don't think that quite qualifies as whining because I couldn't "walk in and play at 5."

Looking retrospectively at the season, he wouldn't have played FC for us.

Probably would've played a few OD matches given our general lack of OD bats. Wouldn't have bowled at all, though.

Yeah, why not, think our failings are more in the bowling than batting depts, had crossed my mind, and loathe as I am to drop bowling altogether, if its better for the team...

I need a gun number 6 if we're to be any good. My surprise signing will take care of Dinnen, don't care about him, just figure with you being better at batting you'll get more of a shot, especially in OD around number 5. As soon as the top 4 fails in OD we just fail badly, but you've got some promise there imo.
