I'm the last player to get their start in the Dev League but a nice 47 off 46 shows that I didn't lose my touch. Happy to start on a good note.

As we've said, just too much competition! Gooljar and Rai both played that game due to their great form (they've got the best averages for the team right now) and Verghese is back from international duties and also bowls spin. To have both Hoy and yourself out of there was always a tough choice, but unfortunately we can only place so many players in the team.

on a side note age is the best capitain ever the physio he got me is sweedish and young and she is frisky frisky frisky.her tounge damn.the knee is doing great im right on schedule with the rehabilitation and i should be back out stronger than b4.

this is huge.. another top win.. the top and middle order played with level heads to get us through.. and ALL the bowlers did an awesome job to get them out for 235 especially in 47 overs..! This is real good 2 back to back wins .. lets not get too over confident but keep riding on this succesful path!

Gooljar (25.50), Rai (34.20) and Timewell (34.50) are our premiere strike bowlers at the moment and Rose and Verghese having just returned from the ODIs were always going to bowl. Rai's also the most economical bowler in the team and before that last game was the most economical bowler in the Dev League. Don't worry, we always select our best side - winning is hugely important to us. Also, a 6 wicket win is pretty damned good in my books - was a very convincing win. It wasn't that our bowlers didn't take wickets in my opinion, it's that our fielders took them before the bowlers had a chance.

Go Green! I'm confident in the side selected, very strong and surely will take the win, knowing the effort and talent they're known to put forward.
