It's going to be tough this afternoon, wind has really got up now. Half the time they're hitting irons and still not getting close.

I know, I went on a Teams call just after he played his provisional. Came off it and he was just about to play his 4th from the one he found.

There's a strong stat that shows that the last 24 Open Winners were within 5 shots of the lead on Day 1. I have a feeling that by the end of the day, we might be only looking at Lowry, Scheffler and Schauffele as likely winners.
