That run of holes from 14-17 is ATG performance in a Major type stuff, unreal. He's incredible. 23 years old, 14 professional wins with 3 majors. He could end his career as one of THE great players.

TBH whilst that's true 13 oddly kinda ended up winning it for him after the first shot, could easily have come out of that hole with a 3 or 4 shot deficit. Whilst Kuch walked to the tee with the lead, he must have thought "**** I could have had it won here".

Very true. It was also an incredible 5 from where he was, proved just how good his short game is under pressure. Spieth's wedge play is one of the most under-rated skills in all of world golf. I'd argue that he's the best in the world with a wedge in hand. All the talk is about his putting, but his pitching and chipping is absolutely superb. Needs to be though the way he drives it at times!

Great event, The Open. One of the most enduring events going in world sport. Love it. Great effort by Spieth, and how good is it to see some of these top blokes actually struggle around traditional, old-school golf courses. Love it.
