I really like the draft, it really adds to the managerial experience, it makes you think about things a lot more then during the regular season when just have to put in Starting XI.

I can assure you that any manager who literally just selects an 11 each week will not be successful.

I think you could have got a Sri Lankan who is better then Bashar, but whatever...

There's not that many. At the time I got Bashar I thought we had to pick players from all nations. I didn't think there were that many quality Lankans left after that round, so when I got Goodwin I had everything covered.

The funny thing is that SKD has 5 openers and the other three sides only have 1.

Hobbs, Gavaskar, Jayasuriya and Melville - i only count 4

Jayasuriya is unlikely to make the side at home or on a non turner, but his occasional twirlies will come in handy on some of these dust bowls, and although he has opened for the large majority of his career, he has played quite a few games at 5,6,7 and may be used there or maybe opening.

Melville opened in 12 of 19 innings, so we'll see about him.

You sure do - I will be shortly getting together an email detailing the amount of input that you will be able to have - it might be today depending on how well my study goes.
