A lot of changes to the OD side after some a few bad games.

I'll be opening alongside Pitt where it's hoped that I'll find some form after my move down the order proved very unsuccessful. Jaso will move down to #4 to provide some stability in the middle order in the same way he did last season while Howler misses out, and Resha slides up above Burke. Hoping for a lot more runs in the final overs, those last couple of games have been nothing short of awful in that area.

McKern & McNamara, normally our two top bowlers in OD, have lost some form and obviously Jack is injured to boot. We'll field a side without Rai or McNamara for the first time as Lowings and Comley get an opportunity to impress with the spinning game. This should also bolster our lower order batting... although the main problem really has been how slow our batting has been in the top order and I seriously hope that changes.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
We can't seem to 'finish off' games now, after setting it up for a win (i.e. bowling them out cheaply, then scoring at least 100 more runs). I guess we only win when we have our backs to the wall and are underdogs :D

I was wondering something guys, is it possible to change from fast-medum to spin?, or would that not serve any purpose especially with the huge influx of spinners that we've got..

CW XI will be playing 4 spinners and a seamer next, with some random batsman taking the new ball. :laugh:

With four spinners in the squad and almost every batsman we have bowling offspin, I don't think that would do you any good. :p

Great performance there Colts. Thrilled at finally contributing with the ball this season. Hopefully theres more performances like that in the next few games :)

With Sam Lowings and Jack McNamara both unavailable at this time, AJ Fensome AWOL and Beamer out of the ranks, looks like we're down to 14 men at present, with more likely to be absent on U-19 tour duties... should be interesting!

Hey guys,

Great win in the last one day game. A few poor performances before that, but we're only as good as our next performance, so with a few players out, we need to step up, much like Comley did in the last game.

Daniel: Whilst I've tried to be more active with the team selections, etc, it has been a bit hard. Things should resume to normal as of mid-next week, so hopefully I'll catch you on MSN around then to discuss things.

Everyone should be thankful for the effort that Daniel and Jack have been putting in to the side in my absence...Thanks guys...:)
