I have to say that I'm very impressed with the club cricket form shown by a lot of Colts players. Das is averaging over 50 in both forms, and Thomas averaging under 20 with the ball in each of 4D and OD. Our batting as a whole is still a bit of an unsurity for me - there are some players who I think should be doing a bit better than they are. Luckily Pitt has been in prime form in FC and Bharat likewise for OD so I'm trusting that they'll boost our batting lineup. Also, not to be forgotten, it's great to see Rai, Das, Bharat and Howler all doing great when it comes to batting strike rate in OD.

Rai - 99.18
Das - 99.04
Bharat - 93.71
Howler - 92.25

The spinners are really fighting it out, all playing very strongly (particularly in OD - in fact, the top three wicket takers for Colts in OD club cricket games this season are our three spinners, Comley tied with Nayak for third). The seamers are struggling in OD, although it's hard to say exactly how to take it - our best OD bowlers in the last Dev League season are the ones struggling! Hopefully they'll get back in form once they're back on home soil.
