can't complain about my season I guess
30 average with the bat, reaching 50 5 times

bowling is not to bad, considering we played on a lot of flat batting tracks...feel my average could be lower...but not bad considering I didn't went abroad in the offseason

So, how is the line up looking? Will I just slot back in or will you stick with my replacement, whoever that was?

Yeah. Have to say generally we are a great club, but we lost one of our better players in a keeper after last season to a ban, which really sucked and one of our promising rookies this year, who was really helping us win games. Hopefully everyone else is sensible enough not to get banned.

Presuming that is me, I'm back now. I won't get banned again.

The chance of making the FC final (very slim) outweighs the temptation to punish you for letting the team down. Hopefully you've learned your lesson though. Losing you to a ban effected our OD bowling unit quite badly.

Shame we couldn't make the FC Final yet again, but we're getting closer every year. In a couple of years time when the rookies have a bit more experience and growth, if we can keep the sqaud together we should be a real threat in that side of things I think.

Safe to say that me and Bosco have become the best opening pair to open bat for Colts I think, have put on a number of good stands over the season (most prolific in century partnerships unless I'm mistaken) and combined scored about 2700 runs or so (turns out it's actually around 3000 haha). He's obviously only going to get better as he gets older and once I can get over this Sarwan syndrome of getting out in the 60's and convert more I bet we'll be a force to be reckoned with

Yeah, you and Bosco were gun. Most century opening stands out of everyone this season, and probably just as many 50 stands as well.

You're improving season by season (afaik converters get their stats gradually increased each season) so next season may be even better.

tbh I don't think I did that bad, I had as many bad games in Dev as good games, so with my young experience I still managed to make some good handy scores.

Usually in off season (in the grade cricket esque leagues of America, T&T etc) I think most part timers bowl more than their fair share of overs, or something. It's usually something you can request though, and it wouldn't hurt, but not if it will have a detrimental effect on your batting.

Of course I'm in the team as a batsmen and I plan to keep it that way!

I used to do extremely well with the ball during the offseason. Never got a wicket in List A or FC to date, though. Think I'm a fair way down the pecking order so I'm best continuing my focus on batting, I'd say. It seems to be paying off, finally. Easily my best season to date.

Think Geg has been a revelation this season off the pitch (and that's certainly not to say he's been poor on it!). Really stepped up, and he has my absolute backing at all ends - obviously alongside Kyle. That write up of our season is just another example of the dedication and I hope it gets him the trophies next time around. Will keep working hard to match his efforts with my bat.

Even though again we didn't finish the season that well, to finish 3rd in both forms is an excellent effort particularly in OD, and given that we were a chance of the final in both forms (no matter how slim) going into the final round of both forms is a massive improvement. Well done to our rookies they certainly made a difference this season, and some of the more experienced players stepped up when needed.

Really looking forward to next season, where hopefully we can continue to improve.

Unlucky not to make finals, but as has been mentioned a good season nonetheless for the Colts. Terrible season personally, though.

Do we need to re sign or do we stick with the one team throughout our career or for a certain period of time?

As a rookie you had a one year contract with Colts. Beginning of next season you'll have to sign with a club. Colts will have first crack at you however iirc.
