After 15 matches of List A cricket, we're doing really quite well in the shorter format, and compared to last season, it's an amazing turn around.
Our bowling attack is quite possibly the best in the league at the moment, however we're falling rather short in the batting department. Just two batsmen are averaging over 30 at the moment, something I hope changes with at least 4 averaging over 30 by seasons end.
The leading batsmen (min 100 runs):
DP Towns 659 @ 54.92
WA Kerr 612 @ 47.08
MW Wilson 385 @ 29.62
A Pimpkins 290 @ 26.36
CR Butler 275 @ 25
BC Fitzsimmons 245 @ 24.50
YA Fjermestad 207 @ 23
DH Cole 120 @ 24
AS Das 119 @ 23.80
The leading bowlers:
NB Spinks 32 @ 20.03
KS Wright 29 @ 21.76
A Pimpkins 24 @ 23.88
MW Wilson 16 @ 21.38
RG Dunn 10 @ 38.60
MA Hutchinson 9 @ 21.78
TV Weber 8 @ 47.63
Impressive stuff from Dan Towns and Will Kerr, who is coming along in leaps and bounds. We have a strong, seam based, bowling attack that's a mix of old and new heads. If we can improve somewhat on our batting, then we could possibly make the OD final - and win it.
Wilson and myself would be the best two allrounders, he is better on batting, I am better on bowling.Colts One Day Stats Round Up
