Easily my favourite win of my domestic career. Love beating Black, but absolutely love smashing them. Also proud to put in a good performance for once. Has been one of my better first class seasons.

Fantastic win over Black. I'd be annoyed I'm not getting into the team but I don't want to replace anyone because they're all doing fantastically or at least chipping in to keep their place.

thats been my theory too before getting a go in the OD side. I have to say as a non first teamer this season sucks without grade cricket...

Don't think we have 11 batsmen. In any case, if we resort to having to bowl me in a One Dayer, we truly are in dire circumstances.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
8 FC matches in with 5 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, pretty good going so far guys. Hopefully we can keep up this good form.
Our bowling has been excellent this season, which is reinforced by the fact we've only used 5 bowlers so far, while the other sides have used at least 7.
The batting has been generally good. The openers have been hit or miss. Griffo either goes on and makes a big score or gets out for <20.
Kerr has been fantastic at number 6, really making that position his own. Jasotharan keeps scoring whirldwind 50's but hasn't yet reached 3 figures which is fine as long as he keeps making runs. Butler has been extremely solid, doing everything right. Wilso has been chipping in at crucial times as well.
Hancock has done very well for himself despite batting at number 8, providing us with essential runs to gain a lead over the opposition.
Dan Towns has hit 3 50's in his last 3 games to save himself a spot, though he is the one under most scrutiny at the moment.

I don't mean to sound...pushy, or anything, but will I get an OD game this season? We haven't really been performing well in the 50 over competition, so maybe it would be time to shake things up.

Yeah, you may get a run. Though your average is pretty low so you're behind quite a few players at the moment.

Think we'll be on the lookout for a one day specialist at the end of the season. Will be interesting to see if there are any players in other sides looking for an opportunity. However, that can all change if the current players step up and win us some games.
