Would have made entertaining viewing for everyone, that's for sure. (Though whether the entertainment would be you smacking one of the red bowlers for four to everyones delight or getting put on your arse by a Kennett bouncer is entirely up for debate

On a personal note, my bowling strike-rate makes me weep. So unbelievably poor
Batting though...adding in the Bangladesh game, so far in the longer form of the game this season I *think* I've scored 251 runs in 8 innings at an average of 88.6. Which is not bad at all.

I wouldn't say the season has been dreadful. Yes, we've finished in a position on the tables that we shouldn't have. However, we have many positives to come from this season. We have uncovered some very promising rookies this year, and a lot of players are in the form of their careers. However, as is always the case we have been far too inconsistent.
I think this has been our best season to date, and we have a lot to build on for next season.

Even If I was in the form of my career, I only hit one ton when I was, when I wasn't, I got more. What's even worse is the fact my HS was 120! Although some others found fantastic form.
We should taken more chances, I mean, Black got 15 more points then we did! We should capatilised our chances, and the last 5 games, we had a chance to take a win out, had we had better luck (and consistancy), we'd have been 1st and in to the final..... We got to stop looking like amatuers come seasons end.....
Now we need a batting replacement to fill out Simon's role, gosh we seem to lose these vital links....Oh well, That openers place always is empty, is Burkey coming back?
We have to take a good review at the stocks, draft better talent, trade for proven and consistant match winners and of course, perform on field! The rookies have been good finds, can they get the well needed experance to boost the overall status?
This was meant to be the breakthough year, we clearly had the best team, and we failed to take advantage of it! Best season or not, we really should've done better, The trophy was meant to be in your hands captain, but the damned crap was not on our side.
Here's hoping the 13th season spells Good luck to us and Bad luck to everyone else!

Colts had the best batting, but not the best team IMO. Because the bowling relied too much on Kyle and Greg. And Kyle was off the beat for most of the season, so the attack struggled, in OD cricket particularly.
