Some of the CW Colts stats dont look that impressive. Are you not very good players? or is your opposition immense?

One test and ODI playing batsman, one test playing allrounder, two further test playing bowlers (one of them also an ODI player), one or two ODI fringe players, various CWXI 'A' players... I'd say that Liam got it right when he noted that we look an "extremely formidable side".

EDIT: That's not even mentioning one of the most (if not the most) prolific runscorers in CW FC history.

Butler, Wilson, Wright, Thomas, Towns, Das, Weber, Jasotharan, Fitzsimmons. In order.

EDIT: Averaging 6 where? In batting, when he's a bowler, possibly?

That is possibly true, but an international bowler should therfore average above 6.5 when playing a friendly match. Where do you get these players from?

All of the bowlers they face are of FC / List-A standard, so if a player averages 6 in their domestic league and are facing bowlers who play in that same domestic league, then the standard of bowling has not changed. You could argue that the bowlers would relax a bit when bowling, but then, you can also argue that they would relax equally as much when batting, so that point is also redundant, let alone an assumption which should not be made.

Not to mention the extremely obvious point - you don't always bat to your average. That's why it's your average and not your score. Surely any follower of cricket knows that it's not unusual for a player to not score above his average. Conditions, form of both batsman and bowler etc. all come into play.

Who are you, out of curiosity? I don't recall you signing up. Might have just missed the link between last name and username somewhere, mind you.
