Skip, I know you and F00lins are doing quite well in FC with the new ball in hand, but second change does nothing for me at all. My FC form has been quite terrible to say the least.

Any chance of a shake-up?
Not at this stage.

Demeza/Collins has been the winning combination with the new ball for a few seasons. Not overly keen to mix that up for the time being. Sean did extremely well at first change too, it's just a matter of you doing better :p heh

Good to be back. Hopefully I'm not too rusty following the injury.
Hope not, just named you captain in the FC v Black match after the mid-season break!

With my injury, Alex comes back in and we bat deep against Black. Hope to bat them out of the game.

Sean to take the new ball, sorry G, it just feels weird having two medium pacers with the new pill. G to take first change. Hopefully we can bowl them out, we're a bit low on bowling to make up for batting deep. Lot of pressure on the all-rounders in this match.

kuddos to everyone that did well against the Reds. any idea where I can find a points table?
FC or OD?

I'm almost up to date with the FC table. Shall post in the main thread as soon as it's complete (probably tommorow, as i'm kinda sloshed atm). In regards to the OD table, that's usually up to Hak to update within the main thread.

Hey I've just checked the injury thread:

Rob Bowen (Blue)
Return: Tuesday 19th February

Robert Cribb (Blue)
Return: Wednesday 20th February

I thought Cribb was injured for a less amount of games then myself, and he got injured before me.

When I checked the injury thread a couple of days ago, Cribb did seem to have a longer injury than I initially recalled. Someone dig up the injury post and check it, IMO.

This report was on Feb 5th *page 42*

Blue and Black suffer injury blows

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Robert Cribb was struck by Dave Watt during his second innings of 4 against Cricket Web Red, and the Cricket Web Blue batsman will miss 8 matches with a broken collarbone. Cribb is the second CW Blue batsman to be injured recently, joining wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Crampton.

Cricket Web Black have lost their captain and most experienced opening batsman to injury. Daniel Smith suffered a torn groin muscle in training preparation for the one-day fixture against Cricket Web Colts. Smith will miss 4 matches.

Spewen, that means Rob could've been recalled to play on the 14th (which was the mid-season break). He could've played in the bat-feast-draw against black on the 15th heh.

So I assume he is fit for selection for tommorow's FC match against the Masters, as well as I am then, Liam?

Yeh i can't see why he couldn't play, if he was fit to play a couple of days ago.

Good to know while injured I can still help the team.

Any run that Cribb scores now is going onto my average (if he gets out, that doesn't count).

FC v Masters

Couple changes, injured players coming back (Cribb & Demeza) replace de Silva and Sriram.

Going to try and bat deep and rely on the allrounders (Fuller and Camps) to slide in where possible. Hoping to be still be able and bowl out the Masters. Might be a bit light on with the ball, but see how we go.
