Solid team. Cribb obviously needs to prove that he deserves a place in the 1st XI ahead of De Silva, but his form from the warmups warrants selection.

Got to feel for Currie, once more.

As others have said, there is a lot of competition in the batting ranks with Dinu not getting a go. Tough selection. Young kids wanting a bowl too, competition all over. It's great.

Yeah looks good.

Does Cribb roll his arm over as well? Anyway we look really strong, would be good for Cribb to find his feet as that will add alot of batting strength for when the internationals go.

I'm not so sure about Liam batting with the tail though. He normally bats slowly but is also a very big contributor. As such I don't think you want a slow batsman, who often comes up with some good knocks, to be batting quite so low.

Looks really nicely balanced and genuinely strong though. Let's go Blue :)

Disappointing loss.

We batted well first innings thansk to a brilliant 141 from PY which helped us to a nice score then 2nd innings we just capitulated. The bowling in the first innings wasn't too bad with Adam doing really well and he was supported nicely by Fuller.

Basically, the 2nd innings efforts in batting and bowling were below par. Crampton held his bat though in that 2nd innings and Sean bowled tidily and picked up 2. But we just need to keep it going all game.

Promising signs though.

Personally, hopefully I can produce something better. Really poor 2nd innings where we needed somebody to stand up with Crampton, I didn't and no one else did either. Hopefully this improves next game.

In a bold statement to the press, Liam Camps has announced that Nath Patrick will not take the new ball for the next Blue FC game. No word as to whether this means Patrick will be dropped or not.
